The Birth Of Amelia

I wanted a bag that felt like an extension of you. The one you instinctively reach for because you trust it, because it carries what matters without ever weighing you down. A piece that supports your style instead of competing with it.

Where Amelia Began

When I started sketching our first design, I imagined a silhouette that felt structured yet soft, deceptively spacious without appearing bulky, and timeless. I spent months sketching, testing, and refining until the shape finally felt like the version I had been carrying in my mind from the beginning.

Moséna is named after two goddesses: Mnemosyne, the Goddess of Memory, and Alunsina, the Goddess of Creation. I wanted Amelia, and every bag that would come after her, to reflect both — pieces crafted with intention and shaped by the stories you create along the way.

Materials That Matter

A bag should feel as good as it looks. That’s why I chose top-grain Nappa leather for Amelia. It is soft, supple, and becomes more personal with time. It doesn’t just hold its shape; it holds your experiences.

Every detail was chosen with the same care. The hardware is elegant but understated. The adjustable shoulder strap lets you find the length that suits your day. The lining shifts with each color — the Ivory Amelia opens to the gentlest lilac interior, a quiet nod to our signature shade. Even the custom zipper pull was designed to feel smooth and familiar in your hand.

All these small touches create something that feels distinctly yours.

What I Learned Through Amelia

Designing Amelia taught me patience and reminded me that meaningful things take time. Every material, stitch, and adjustment shaped not only the bag itself, but also the identity of Moséna — thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in real-life needs.
